More energy for longer endurance.
A gradual compression accelerates the recirculation of venous blood against gravity and back to the heart. This improves blood circulation, removes the workload for the heart and significantly reduces the pulse rate. This saved energy can then be made available to the sportsman's reserves.
The
anatomically-shaped footbed for the right and left foot with integrated AirConditioning Channel support and protect the foot even during long periods of activity. Those areas of the feet that are particularly vulnerable, for example the contact zone, are cushioned and protected according to their anatomical needs. The feet benefit from the increased grip and stability - there is no excessive cushioning or tight padding that might interfere with proper foot-to-shoe contact.
Features:
- The AirConditioning Channel™ is an air channeling system made of a finely woven knit-mesh that continually circulates air and regulates the temperature around the foot. Located along the inside of the foot and extending up from the anatomically shaped footbed, it ensures that every movement of the foot pumps the moist, warm air out of even tight fitting shoes.
- Self-adjusting Cuff® adapts to any size leg without slipping or constricting.
- Instep Protector with AirCool Stripes protects the upper part of the foot, evenly distributes pressure, and significantly reduces the chances of skin abrasions and chafing.
- The Toe Protector protects all around.
- The asymmetric ToeTip™ Protector in Robur™ absorbs pressure and perfectly hugs the contour of the asymmetric toe area.
- AirCoolStripes™ allow cool, fresh air to circulate along the instep.
- Lambertz-Nicholson Achilles Tendon Protector with a spared area at the Achilles tendon. Protects and reduces friction caused by the shoe.
- AirFlow™ AnklePads protect against skin abrasions.
- The unique X-Cross® Bandage cushions and stabilises the sensitive ankle area without restricting movement.
- Heel Protector decreases the risk of blisters.
- Traverse AirFlow™ Channels regulate the temperature of the sole of the foot and conduct moist and overheated air into the AirConditioning Channel.
