Tom Tom spark

6 October 2017
Hi, I loved my Tom Tom spark, not being a smart watch but a fitness tracker was very appealing but after paying $350 the watch only lasted 17 months. Needless to say I am not interested in repeating the experience.

Hi, Yeah they are a bit temperamental. It may be worth a call to TomTom on 1300 135 604 for a warranty claim as they can sometimes be kind with replacements. If not Garmin have some great units that are worth spending the little bit extra on as they are very reliable. Regards, Henry

What about the bands?

11 July 2017
The tomtom spark cardio has an encompassing band, meaning the watch fits into it. I bought my husband a Tomtom Spark and one for myself.. both bands snapped, at the same place on the band, after only 6 months. Upon taking the first band to break, in for replacement, we were told that they always break. The bands are no good. They replaced the band with another one which looks to be exactly the same.

Hi Jill, yes we tend to agree the bands can be quite a hassle when they break. The ones on the Garmin havent had any issues. I think its something to be cautious of when buying a TomTom for sure!
